Terms and conditions

This English version is provided for convenience. Contracts with consumers are governed by Romanian law; if the English and Romanian versions differ, the Romanian version prevails.

1. Who we are

kiltex-itc.com is operated by KILTEX S.R.L., a company registered in Romania (company details). Contact: office@kiltex-itc.com, +40 750 452 384.

2. Products and prices

Prices are set in Romanian lei (RON) and include Romanian VAT (21%). On the English site they are shown in euros for convenience, converted at the National Bank of Romania exchange rate of the day; orders, invoices and payments are in lei. Prices of products listed in foreign currency are recalculated every working day. The applicable price is the one shown when you place the order.

Photos are for illustration. Technical specifications come from the manufacturers; we may correct obvious price or description errors, in which case we inform you before confirming the order.

3. Orders

Orders are placed from the shopping cart with your name, email and phone number. After sending the order you receive a registration email. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order by phone or email, after checking stock and delivery details. We may refuse an order for justified reasons (out of stock, incomplete details, pricing errors) and will let you know.

4. Business customers from other EU countries

We sell to businesses registered for VAT in an EU member state other than Romania. You must provide a VAT number valid in the EU VIES system on the order date, together with the company name and registered address. For such orders we issue the invoice without Romanian VAT, under the reverse-charge mechanism (Art. 138 and Art. 196 of Directive 2006/112/EC); you account for VAT in your own country. If the VAT number cannot be validated, we may ask for additional information, invoice with Romanian VAT, or cancel the order.

Shipping to other EU countries is quoted separately and confirmed in the proforma invoice; delivery is made after payment by bank transfer. We do not currently accept online orders from private individuals outside Romania; they can request a quote.

5. Customer account

Creating an account is optional; you can order without one. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You can ask us to delete your account at any time at office@kiltex-itc.com.

6. Payment

Payment is made by bank transfer against the proforma invoice sent by email or, for deliveries in Romania, cash on delivery. We do not collect card details on the site.

7. Delivery

Delivery details are described in our shipping and returns policy.

8. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer (private individual), you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the products without giving a reason, in accordance with Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014. Details are in the shipping and returns policy. The right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers.

9. Warranty

Products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and, where applicable, the manufacturer's commercial warranty stated on the warranty certificate.

10. Personal data

We process your data only to handle your order and communicate with you, as described in our privacy policy.

11. Disputes

We try to resolve any disagreement amicably. Consumers may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) or use alternative (SAL) or online (ODR) dispute resolution.
